Hey There

I am a GHSC - General Hypnotherapy Standards Council UK registered and Certified Hypnotherapist and Qualified Life Coach.  Dip RTh, Ct.Hyp, LCH Dip.s, GQHP, CNHC Reg. I am proud to be an accredited practitioner with both the GHR and the CNHC (Complimentary and Natural Health Council).

As someone who has personally experienced the transformative power of Hypnotherapy, I founded Katie Higgins Hypnotherapy with the goal of helping others create positive change in their own lives. Whether you're struggling with Anxiety, looking to change your eating habits, dealing with grief, would like to sleep better, reduce your stress or simply want to overcome certain habits, I am here to guide you through the process. My goal is to create a calm, comfortable environment where you can relax and tap into the power of your subconscious mind.

 

I am passionate about Hypnotherapy and holistic practise as an effective way of helping us create positive change in our lives. ​

About Me

The first and perhaps the only thing you need to know about me, is that I really love what I do. I am passionate about Hypnotherapy and how powerfully it can change your life. I am endlessly fascinated by the mind and helping people bring positive change into their lives. There are too many people living now who feel stuck, sometimes paralysed by events, memories and things that happened to them. Unable to move forward in life, sometimes despite having other therapies, can make you feel a sense of failure and that leads to a low, depressed mood.  But like an electrical circuit that can go awry, so can the brain and Hypnotherapy can rewire the Neural pathways to create new ways of thinking and feeling.

I was in my early twenties when in a life changing event I lost my Father.  What followed was a very hard few years of questioning life, intense Anxiety and a lot of therapy to deal with what I had been through. It would be many years still until I discovered the power of Hypnotherapy and truly recovered from Anxiety.  Why do I tell that story? Well because quite simply it is part of my origin story, it is where my recovery truly started and how I came to realise that when we go back to the root cause we are able to heal.

But everyone's journey is unique, that's why how I work is tailored to each individual client. Your sessions are designed to help you identify and address the root of your issues, so that you can move forward with confidence, positivity and peace of mind. 

 

During your first session, together we create a personalised plan based on your individual needs and goals. Whether you are looking to overcome a specific challenge or simply want to improve your overall well-being.  We work towards how you want to feel, what you want to achieve and we never lose sight of it.

My Therapy Type

Therapy with me is an interaction, a back and forth. I won't nod at you and agree.  Our sessions are engaged and action based. There is work to do, and life changing results to achieve.
